Job Description

This position involves teaching private dog training lessons in client’s homes for Positive Paws Dog Training in various Chicagoland suburbs.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain client base through networking contacts with dog industry professionals
2. Design and implement customized training plans for individual clients

Job Qualifications

1. Must have minimum 1 year of animal training experience
2. Must be willing to take CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainer) exam within first 6 months of hire. The expense for this exam is covered by Positive Paws.
3. Must be self motivated because you will be working independently but also as part of a group.
4. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills as position requires constant contact with dog professionals.
